Hello dear Tomb Raider fans and Lara’s lovers, probably you already heard those “great” news that Rise of Tomb Raider – upcoming sequel, will be exclusive game only for Xbox One. Really fuckin awesome news… Tomb Raider started as multiplatform game, and now this ?!
Thanks, nice way how to treat with loyal fans.
It’s really big shame that Square Enix is making games, not because they like creating art, for joy or for fans, but first of all for money. …at least this “exlusivity” has a time duration, so probably PC and PlayStation fans could enjoy new game too.

And about Rise of the Tomb Raider being an Xbox ‘Timed’ Exclusive, it’s most likely that Microsoft saved Tomb Raider. Square Enix used more money than they got back when they made the first Tomb Raider, so despite the fact that they were pumping out games, they still didn’t have enough assets to make Rise of the Tomb Raider. MS needed a way to get people to buy the Xbox One, and Square Enix needed help financially in making RotTR; essentially, a perfect match. And, PC users will still most likely get it as well at some point.
Microsoft is the one of the few reasons a new Tomb Raider game is even possible. We should be thanking them.

Yeah, I was pretty upset at the news as well. I have a feeling it is Square-Enix making these decisions despite what they make Crystal Dynamics say. Anyway, I LOVE the sunbathing piece, Tom. Your renders never fail to impress and always leave me blown away (and really turned on, lol). They are simply without equal as far as I am concerned.
